This was discovered after 2,013 women were given surveys by researchers from Brigham and Women's Hospital. In the survey they were asked to evaluate their satisfaction and well-being. " Dr. Andrea L. Pusic, chief of plastic and reconstructive surgery at Brigham Health, stated, "Given the personal and intimate nature of breast reconstruction, patient-centered data are arguably the best measures of outcomes."
